Tire/ Rims size?

I have the 18 x 9 and 18x10 saleen rims for my mustang
I have a set of 275/40/18's for the front set, but my question is are 275's to narrow for a 10 inch rim?

Id go 295's on the back. Maybe 305's

And alot of people have clearance issues with 275's up front. I have 17x9 up front, ans 17x10.5 out back and I run 255/40 and 315/35.

I would definitely go wider for the rear as suggested above. I'm doing a 305/35/18 Nitto on my new 18x10" rims.

Ive had hard braking under odd curves and rubbed 245s on the front on mine. But yea the wider the better on the back.

didnt the 2000 cobra r come stock with 265 all around? I would think you would be able to fit a 265 up front
