Tire size question for my 94 cobra?

The 245 tire on the 8in wheel is a good tire/wheel combo for all around driveability...the 245 is what comes on the Cobra...either sn95 or 96-98...

I wouldn't put a 275 tire on an 8 inch wheel (because as stated) it gives up handling and feel...the only tire I would do is a Nitto maybe...it will be "buldge" if it is at the proper tire pressure...

I am running nitto 275/50/17 on mine and I love the taller tire look. I have them on 98 cobra wheels and they fit great. Only problem is it causes the abs light to come on cause the difference in tire size from front to rear. They are 2" taller than my 245/45/17 on the front.

I ran 275 nitto drags on my stock cobras and they do run a bit narrow, didn't have a huge bulge. Off the rims they were only a bit wider than the normal 555 255's. Still handled like a mofo though despite being 275 and drag radials, and it's not like it was a road race car.
