I put 18" Saleens on my 95 GT w/ 265/35 fronts and 285/35 rears. I love the way it looks.

Keep the stock tire size. You will only need to go to a taller tire if you are running out of RPM at the need of the track and that will not happen with 3.73's until you are hitting about 121mph trap speeds.

I say see if you like the RPM you are turning on the highway... I kinda wish I went with 3.55 over 3.73 as I drive a LOT of highway (40 miles every day I take my car) and I like to drive 80+ mph... So when it is time for tires I may go a bit taller...

Remember, if you have ABS, the overall diameter of the front and rear tires must be about the same or the ABS computer will trip the ABS light because of the difference in wheel speed.

if you have 16's i'd go with a 245-50-16....but some people don't like how the side wall kinda bubbles off the rim. To each his own though.

I have 255/50 on the back & 225/55 on the front. Both look bubbly & bludgy, but I dont care because they are my drag wheels. I say go with 245/50's, that way you can rotate front to back and have good traction at all 4 corners.
