From my install thread:



I am running stock motor mounts and a Prothane trans mount which is about the only differences. To me it looks like our shifters are sitting at the same height.

Is it me or is the OP supposed to have the exhaust hanger plate in place between the tranny and tranny mount?

I just checked mine in a SN95.and the shifter sits about where the OP's does.

i also noticed you didnt use any of the stiffler metal shim plates.

Thats intresting. different chassis but I have no room to go up as the flat portion of tranny it hits the floor...

Two pics from my 83 car with the TKX installed on a Stifflers Crossmember using the two large plastic spacers recommended.... Hope this helps
