Is it me or is the OP supposed to have the exhaust hanger plate in place between the tranny and tranny mount?

I just checked mine in a SN95.and the shifter sits about where the OP's does.

i also noticed you didnt use any of the stiffler metal shim plates.

Stifflers SN directions show a pic with exhaust hanger plate installed.

Thats intresting. different chassis but I have no room to go up as the flat portion of tranny it hits the floor...

the t5 previously was flush
