Tranny Cooler

I am in the middle of ordering a valve body and a torque converter so I need to decide which cooler to get as well. The FRPP cooler that is 71/4 by 11 inches. is that too big? Will it fit up front ok? What about the way it mounts? is it secure?

What about the B&M supercooler? Does this one come with a mount kit?

I've installed a couple and the FRPP is a nice piece. However, I'd get one with screw in barbed fittings (like the big B&M).

I would not sweat the install kit stuff much if yours does not come with it. You can get hydraulic line at the parts store (and very well might need to anyhow if you have to run the lines very far. Or make your own hardlines. It doesn't take too long).
And you can get some bracket stock at the home store. I would not use any pull-rough ties.

Yea I have seen too many horror stories from the pull through mounts. I just wanted to get a good cooler that was a stacked plated and not a tube and fin. I am going to get this stuff ordered tonight. I am spyched to drive th stang with the new stuff once it is in. I am getting a Edge converter. 2500 stall.
