I am thinking about getting a centerforce clutch. Should I get the Centerforce II or the dual friction? I am dissapointed in my self because I spent the money for a King Cobra and it slips. Is there a better clutch that would be more reliable?

Yeah at your powerlevels, a King Cobra/HD will want to slip after a certain amount of abuse has been put to it.

I would pick the Dual Friction to make sure there is no chance of slip.

I have a Stage II (Centerforce) in my car, daily drove it for quite sometime.

It holds roughly 60% more power than stock. You are around that area...so I would get the DF, although it can be a bit more threatning to the t5.

Just don't powershift it and it will last you many miles

A KC or motorsport HD press plate with a mcleod disk would be the ticket. Great clutch. No chatter, no hard hitting!

I use an centerforce 2 with a fidanza aluminum flywheel and it works realy great, I usualy drive the car hard from time to time, no power shifts just speed shifts and it works fine. Has lasted me longer than expected. The reason i got that clutch is becuase i went through 4 clutches in 5 years, yeah i drive right its just i had junky clutches in it.

Thanks. I just spend the extra money and get the dual friction. Here is a little thought for beginners, like me, spend the extra money upfront because something usally bits you in the butt.
