trying to wire Mallory HyFire VI-AL Digital CD Ignition

I bought the TFI wiring harness for this Mallory ignition box but i can’t seem to figure out how to wire it to tachometer "yellow wire", I’ve been looking in a Haynes manual for 2 hours can seem to figure it out......

Has anyone wired up a ignition box that can give me some advice?

What is the information source for the tachometer yellow wire? Most of the vehicle wiring has a primary color and a trace color.

1993, i was going off of the instructions that came with the mallory box...i was doing a lot of research today and some people are saying one of the wires going into the coil is the tachometer wire or serves the same purpose.

A better way to phrase it is that the wire on the negative side of the coil can be used as a signal source for a tachometer.

Well i wired everything up and now the car wont start but if i plug the stock connector back into the coil it starts, Whats the deal?

What are each of your sources for the given wires? Did you do the prestart checklist and troubleshooting checklist in the instructions? We don't know anything about your set-up or installation to be able to offer any advice.
