hey, a temporary t5 for my 351, a thunderbird turbocoupe 4cyl tranny is sitting in my garage. i was going to put it in my stang, but the input shaft is too small, obviously. i have heard of people using a special bearing to fit the housing AND the throwout bearing housing, but my good guys at napa couldnt help, and the jerks at the transmission shop wouldnt tell me because they werent doing the job... it is meant to be a temporary transmission while my super alloy t5 is being built and freighted...
the only thing i can think of, is to go to the bearing specialists, but that's in down town, and i dont really feel like fighting seattle traffic 35 miles.... (aprox. 2 hours)
i've done searching and i cannot find any information on this, but i know it is possible. friends have done it years ago....
