Two smog hoses: I blocked one of them. A problem?

So when I installed my GT40's I realized they didn't have the smog holes on the back of the head like the E7's had. Well now the smog pump hose that ran to the metal pipe that to connected to the back of the heads is no longer doing anything. I just stuck a bolt with a nut on it into that hose and clamped it to seal it. Will clamping that off hurt anything?? Or should I leave it open to blow air freely?

The hose to the H-pipe is still there and hooked up to the H-pipe.

The AIR pump flow is only directed to the back of the heads at start up for a few mins (to help light off the cats) so that is not a biggie IMHO. It should not affect your emissions test results, sans a difference visually.
