u/d pulley delimma

wts up peeps,

here's my problem and i have searched with no luck with an answer so maybe someone on here could help me out.

i purchased saleen u/d pulleys about 8 months ago and i am just now putting them on. i got the crank pulley and alt. pulley on with no sweat, but when i went to put the water pump pulley on ... it doesnt fit , the neck on the water pump does not come out away from the motor enough. so i found on steeda.com that the year of my stang 2002 they made 2 different water pump styles and apperantly i have the later.

so what do i do now, does saleen make a different pulley for this or am i screwed?

any help would be appreciated gr8ly

i know must will say just get the steeda ones but im doing the saleen conversion so thats y i went with the saleen

they made saleens all those years.. so yes there are UD pullies for those years... but good luck contacting them, as that would be your best bet is to contact and see if you can purchase one seperate. though on a business sense, they will probably make you buy the full correct set.

would it be cheaper to replace my water pump with the early version of 01 ... or will that not work ???

im still waiting to hear from saleen
