Ugly Engine sound

I dunno whether it is bcuz of old age of the engine or something is wrong with it. My car is a 93lx n it has about 88000 or 188000 miles on it (I cant tell). Does nebody else have that klunk, klunk, klunk sound to there engine bcuz it sounds horrible while I'm drivin? And if so wat did u do to solve the problem?

What do you mean by 'klunk'?. Does it do it at idle also? Is the clunking coming from the trans as you change gear?

try changing the oil, it normally doesnt last 188k miles
