I was a good citizen and filed early... woohoo I get 1100 thats almost enough to get all the components... not including machine work. Now I just need to deceide if I want to go with a 302 or 351...how much trouble is it stuffing a 351 in a '65-'66? same mounts as a 289/302?

Glad to hear my taxes are going to help out a fellow Stanger!:nice:

Maybe next year I should just mail my tax check directly to you?

Hey, sounds good. :flag:

But actually I'm getting a return on taxes that I overpaid the gov't throughout the course of the year... it has nothing to do with your taxes friend.

However, I won't be offended if you still want to send me your tax check. :D

Ya, but by some weird accounting fluke, I underpaid the Fed this year........so what I sent in, gets thrown into the pot and re-distributed to those who overpaid.......................

Ok folks, the real question is.. should I think long term durability, and save big $$$ for a dart block and top notch components like trw forged pistons and total seal rings, forged rods and crank, etc... or should I go with a DSS, CHP or other mfg. shortblock? Hell, I think I can get a shortblock for close to the price of the dart block by ITSELF!!..
