Thanks for the info, when researching the UPR on this forum I saw a post of yours that said you had trouble with the KN filter install on the UPR pipe. How did that work out ? Any tips you can give me?
i dont think it was really an issue with the power pipe itself. i even forgot i had that problem.
the problem is the filter was touching the back of the headlight, didnt really hurt anything but i wanted to moved it out from that corner, figured if i could free up room all the way around the filter it would be better. all i did to cure the problem was loosen all the hose clamps on the powerpipe and rotate it slight to where the filter is where i wanted it. easy as cake.
also, there is a small metal brace that i think is for the front bumper or something, i remove one of the bolts and swung it out of the way for clearance for the filter and etc. you will see what i am talking about when you put it on.
also i might mention i had a problem with mine running right after i installed the power pipe, i had almost no vacuum at idle. i dont know why but i kept messing with stuff and etc and it went away, i bet it was just a freak deal on my part and not related to the powerpipe.
and hotcobra03, i didnt really get a time before the powerpipe. but all i can say is i picked up from 5 psi to 6 psi. seemed to run a little harder at WOT.
shortly after i went to the track and ran 12.1@112 with a 1.64 60' with 6 psi. and that was with thumper e7s and a b-cam
heres a vid of that night....
