Like the title says, I have a 2000 GT and currently have dumps, (don't like the rumble and smell of exhaust in cabin) I want to know if i can use tailpipes from the previous years? What's different? They all curve over the axle/rearend don't they?

Next time you see one, park next to it. There's no way they are even close in length. The escort, I mean fox version is much smaller.

Shorter are they? Will the length over the axles/rearend from the mufflers be the same? If that's the case I(muffler shop) could weld additional pipes/tips to come out to bumper?
