Using 3M two sided tape on S281

im about to install my spoiler and it is a saleen spoiler but it is the newer one from saleen which is made out of Urathane and only has one bolt on each side. Just wondering where to put the two sided tape? just along the edge of the trunk or did u guys outline the whole spoiler with it??? Dont really want water getting under there from whe i wash the car and sitting under there.

I just installed the same part...I got 3M tape, just to be safe....ran it along the entire width of the S281 where it meets the trunk....they meet on that radius of the trunk edge...
The mother is stuck for sure...hasn't lifted a bit...
As for the two other holes..just put a lenght of the tape over those holes...as for leaks???? I dont drive it in the rain so I cant answer that one....I never did find instructions on mounting it...I never thought to tape that front edge to boot.
