In your opinions, what is the best power pipe for a V-2 Vortech with a 8 psi pulley? I hate the plastic crap and want to upgrade and free up a few horses as well. Pics would be helpful also, thanks. Also, would a 70mm throttle bosy help any?

I got an AFM powerpipe. I don't have any pictures loaded, but it is chrome. I run 10 PSI at 5500rpms.

Is that with the stock 3.60" pulley? Where did you purchase it and did you have to get reflashed?

Are you running a steeda tune or is it dyno tuned?? For a steeda tuned I'd stick with Steeda's as they have issues with 4 inch pipes. Most of the other guys just get the AFM pipe and have it tuned to run properly.

I have the afm pipe and I think the 70mm tb is not a bad idea for your car. May not see a huge gain but it will no doubt be helpful on a blown car.

I like them both. Sweet!

It's an autologic tuned chip by Mike Murillo. I'll definitely wait to put it on until I go to get tuned. Anyone have any websites with the best prices?

That is with the stock pulley. I bought it off of a friend, but you can get them from Anderson Motorsports. I installed it at the same time as the blower so it was tuned at the same time.

Try contacting Jonathan at www.bristoldyno.com. He can get a lot of parts, including steeda stuff on the cheap.

Here is mine with the AFM pipe. Morpheus also makes a power pipe.

As far as pulley's go, I would suggest looking at the Reichard Racing untra grip pulley. Maybe the 3.33 for your application. I also like the Steeda powerpipe.
Give CobraKiller(Tim) from http://www.modularfordpowerhouse.com a call. He'll set you up with both for a great price...

Here's mine:

Thanks for all links and pics guys, I have a little research to do. But do they all pretty much accomplish the same thing and the rest is just cosmetics and personal preference? I might just stick the the current pulley for now since the bottom end is still stock. I don't want to get too greedy!

Hey Kamran, I started ordering stuff the day I bought it, lol. I have a full autometer a-pillar guage pod with phantom boost and fuel pressure gauges on the way. Might order the raptor shift light tonight as well....

Just a quick note about the afm powerpipe that I have. It did require some modification to make it fit. I believe it is a 4" pipe as opposed to the 3 1/2" steeda (please correct me if I'm wrong someone). If I were in the market for another one I'd buy the steeda.

Do you have an 80mm MAF or 90 mm MAF? If you have an 80, get the Steeda power pipe from T&J. If you have a 90, you'll need a 4 in powerpipe from Anderson Ford.

Good info, I'll have to double check. Will the price be about the same regardless if it's a 90mm or 80mm?
