Vortech Injectors question?

Hey guys im kinda in a bind here. I have the money to do either heads and a cam or a vortech s-trim kit. The problem is if i do the heads and cam know i have to increase the injectors to at least 24lbs or 30lbs. But than if I put the vortech on later I got to increase the injectors again to at least 36lbs. Is there any way that if i put the s-trim on now would it be good with stock 19lb injectors and the vortech fmu and maybe a adj. fpr? and then later on up the inj. size when i put the heads and cam on???? Also can you use your stock maf with a vortech kit and if not what do use for a good maf sence pro-m went out of business?? Once again i really appreciate all the help you guys give it helps out a ton! :hail2:

you can do the heads and cam while still using the 19lb injectors and MAF. When you get the vortech, change the injectors and MAF at that time. That way your not making two injectors changes ($). IMO just changing the heads and cam will not necessarily max out the injectors and/or MAF.

You see ...... that is the thing about h/c/i OR blower

You gotta have supporting stuff either way you go if you want to do it right!

Make sure you know the complete needs to go which ever way you choose.

Looks like to me, you are starting to see these things so that is good.

Don't forget a tune if you go the Blower route and if you build a very serious NA combo as well.

I don't know what your experience with cars and such is but, generally speaking, NA is more forgiving, and requires less know how to keep a combo going than Forced Induction.

That blower would make your stock maf & inj's be obsolete by at least mid rpm range.
