(sidenote): Vortech arrived in CA 2 weeks ago Monday.. Ive called every few days to find out the status...they keep telling me that THEY WILL CALL WHEN THEY HAVE AN ANSWER AS TO THE PROBLEM
I called back again today, and the Service Mng said "There's a note here that they called LAST THURSDAY, and you were off of work"
I said "I GAVE THEM 3 Numbers to call, and even if they didnt have them, why did they NOT call me again" They dude said the guy that put in the note has since been fired for other things
:damnit:
Anyway.. the repair was what they call their "minor"
which is $369. (major includes gears and is about a grand). BUT, the housing case is damaged, and that's another $250 for that....The Total is $613
GOOD NEWS: I originally wanted their $69 SB Oil feed line, which comes with a steel fitting for the VOrtech. They guy said he would "throw it in there for free"
At least something good. He also said that he would give me their $49 tensioner pully plate for $29 (This is the plate that attaches to the Vortech and can be tightened down with a 3/8" socket to tighten the belt......In many of them, the 3/8" ratchet square holes are "rounded" off from continuous tightening.
Should be end of next week to get it back.
Just wanted to share the info!
