I've broken a valve spring in the #7 cylinder. I just replaced the spring and it was good to go. I couldn't find it either but the pen in my ear fell into the head and while getting it out I saw that the spring was in peices.
If you dont mind me asking what setup do you have? I have a 347 stroker also that I am getting ready to put in my car I alsohave a vortech so I was wondering did you even put a girdle in you car? hows it holding up?except for the valvespring which I am glad you have figured out

Here is a list of what I have done and what I got out of it. I do have a girdle on it, to hold the pieces together It is holding up well. Except I am finding the weakest links. I drive my car hard or so the kids tell me.
