I'm picking this one up on Monday. It's a 1989 LX Notchback, original 5.0L, 5 speed, mint black interior car with 82k original miles. It's Dark Grey Metallic (1D paint code) and still wears the original paint. I was told it's one of 405 made in this color that year, but I've come to distrust Mustang production numbers. If anyone can verify, that would be nice. It came from Virginia, originally. It's pretty damn clean, but needs some things here and there. I'll be changing a lot on this car. First, I'll be cleaning the living hell out of it.

Mods:
3G 130A alternator
1.6 roller rockers
Steeda short throw shifter
Centerforce dual friction clutch
Steeda adjustable firewall clutch quadrant
FRPP aluminum driveshaft
3.55 gears w/new axle seals and hardened axles
BBK headers
BBK H-pipe
New KYB shocks and struts
BBK lowering springs
all polyurethane suspension bushings
weld-on subframe connectors
Taurus fan

Check out the pics and let me know what you think! I'll have better ones soon.

Sweet! My buddie's 88 Coupe was originally that color. I like it!

Part of me wishes that I could buy/sell cars as often as you do, because all the different experiences you get from driving all those different cars. But I just get too attached. All my cars I have now are good cars and I don't really want to let any go because they've treated me well and are a lot of fun. I'm kind of sentimental.

nice, that color is one of my favorites. just resprayed mine:

Thanks man! It looks like I buy/sell/trade a lot, but those cars listed in my sig are all of the cars I've owned from 2002 to present. Nine years is a long time when you're 25 and have the attention span of a goldfish :D Some cars have meant more to me than others, but the current lot are staying forever I think. The Barracuda means a whole lot to me and I have big plans for this notch too. Thanks for the compliments man, much appreciated!

Man you buy and sell a lot of cars.

I like it. :)

Haha, yeah I guess you and I are the same that way. It looks to me like your wallet is a liiiiiitle bit bigger than mine at 25, but more power to you man. You must work your ass off for it.

looks kinda like my car......

It does! At least now I know what it'll look like with welds and a cowl, haha. The notch twins...

Nice! But I'm pretty sure that is not a black interior

Thanks! Oh it's black alright, and in great shape. Like said, it just looks grey in the sun.

thats the fox black cloth, the sun light makes it look gray

:stupid:

BTW Im 39 I bought my first car when I was 18 and I have had 43 vehicles since then... no shame in it,I have had some cool ass cars.

Hey hey hey now....I'm just bull****tin' lol

Car looks great and after seeing how you normally improve cars after you get them I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

No hate man...just makin jokes:nice:

No hate at all dude! Sorry, I just get a little tired of the "how long until you sell it" thing sometimes haha. I guess I deserve it though! No harm done, thanks for the compliments! :nice:

Looks like a great coupe... Well done.

Thanks man!

real clean car, great color, do you plan on keeping the ponies? they look good with the dark gray metallic.

Thank you! I'm on the fence about the wheels. Right now I'm thinking silver 93 cobras or 5 lug swap and 18" black saleens. Depends on the budget I guess. The ponies are going byebye regardless, though.
