Well, that didn't last too long...

Looks pretty nice. I would do a H/C/I swap first to see if you can beat the numbers from your strawberry notch. If it doesnt, then you might as well sell it before you spend too much on appearance mods, cause you'll always be disappointed that it cant live up to the old car. :nonono:

BTW Im 39 I bought my first car when I was 18 and I have had 43 vehicles since then... no shame in it,I have had some cool ass cars.

1973 Mercury Montego-Sold it for 500 bucks
1978 Mustang II- hit on the door
1982 Ford Escort- Blew engine, scrapped it
1977 Cobra-Ex-Girl friend had her cousins Destroy it while I slept

1969 Camaro- sold to two guys who own a Chevy dealership in Ohio
1964 Malibu 283 with a muncie 4 speed- sold to a guy who's wife died in a boating accident. They had come and looked at it when I had it for sale...but left without it. I decided to keep it, about 6 months later he came back wanting to buy it because he said she had really wanted it, so I sold it to him and as far as I know its been in a garage ever since.

Thanks, but I'm not sure your logic makes any sense with that method. The strawberry notch was a special car that had a custom h/c/i combo from Jay Allen at Camshaft Innovations. He's not doing well at all at the moment, from what I gather.

I wouldn't try to match the strawberry notch with this car. It only made 306 horsepower. I've owned and driven MUCH more powerful cars than that since then. This current car will be driven as is for a while, cleaned up, then I'll decide what direction I'm going to go.

Hell yes! About time, man.

:hail2:

didnt you just buy a motor not too long ago?

can't wait to see what happens with this one :nice:

I did buy a motor locally, but bartered it away in one of my other schemes to get restoration work done on the Barracuda. This car will see all fresh parts and thinking. :nice:

My list also is littered with all kinds of makes and modles and motor cycles and a jet ski,,,lol

My bad, I was under the impression you didnt have much of a pocket book to play with. I figured with the way you go through cars, if this notch wasnt superior to the first notch that you would see it on its way to another home. Just curious, what made you get rid of the termi-GT? I thought that was a bad ass ride after seeing your pics of it.

I love the way it looks as it sits. Such a clean stock coupe! I love it! I would have a hard time passing that badboy up! Got any pics under the hood??

BTW...those seats aren't from a 93. Probably a 90 or 91.

For anyone on here expecting an update, I'm currently laying in a hospital bed with a 10" incision in my stomach and about 6 bags hanging from an IV pole next to my heart monitor and blood pressure cuff. I had two feet of my small intestine cut out and "resectioned" and a microperforation in my small colon sewed up. Needless to say, this one got away from me after all. Instead of picking it up Monday, I was fighting for my life with a 107.1 fever. I broke the hospital's record for highest recorded body temperature... Sorry for the tease guys, but I just got the strength to use a laptop tonight. Looks like I'll be gone a while for this one :(

Thanks, and go tell someone you love how you feel about them. Life is fleeting guys...

What the hell happened?

Oh, and by the way, you'll still have more intestines than my 18 year old cousin. Life ain't so bad after all. :p

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, guys! I knew the stangnet fam would react accordingly. :nice:

To Nik, I wish I could say I was in a knife fight defending a flaming truckload of orphans or something, but truthfully, I've been fighting with Crohn's Disease since I was diagnosed back in 2007, just after my 21st birthday. Unfortunately, it`s a disease that affects mostly young people. Disease won this time, but when I get out of this bed I'm enjoying life to the fullest. I proposed to my girlfriend on the way into the OR, and my search for a coupe will resume around July, I think.

Thanks again everyone!
