So I order deep dish rims for the rear and I ask my buddy for the nitto 555r and I drop off my car and came back to pick it up and he got me the 315/35r17 nto5r and they are sick, so I decided to share them with you.

Those are the new nitto drag radials. They are replacing the 555r's.

I've seen a couple guys go low 1.6's with them on 17's. They are a new tire for 2010.

It hooks so hard I couldn't believe it. I can't wait to try them at the track.

If you think they hook on the street, lower them down to 14-18psi, do a 10 second burnout in 2nd, and then dump it at 5k. They should be good for 1.7-low 1.8's.

I have an auto but we will see what they cut. When I had the 555rs the best was 2.052. But this up coming Sunday is street wars so I will see what I cut and it will be the first time I get to use the nitrous.

Mt would be the only other dr I would consider. But so far the Nt05r are way better then the 555rs.

I was at discount tire yesterday with a buddy who was looking for some nittos for his T/A. They had those there, but they are not replacing the 555R, they are a better tire. But the 555R will last longer for those who drive on the street or highway. At least thats what the tire guy said.

from the looks of it, seems like Nittos still run a bit narrow compared to other brands of the same size. But it I would like to see how it does on the strip.
