K I am pissed, I have realized after getting my stang stripped down for blower install, I have to beat in my strut tower to get it to fit there:mad:... not something I want to do if I plan on upgrading my blower ever...

So right now I have a bit of money burning a whole in my pocket and I already have the s/c and some materials, why not buy a car that is not as nice and build it the way I want??

So my quest has begun for a cheap project, only two cars I will consider, a 4 eye build or a ttop build, both would be a ++. I have found a few candidates, check these out.
I figure, offer the guy 1200 and go from there.

Then there is always that grey 4 eye I have always wanted, maybe I should now try to act on this...

Don't put power into a T-top car the roof is an critical part of the cars structure and the lack of a full roof will really work against you, not to mention they are the true rattle/leak boxes of the fox body.

Its gonna be a pita to bang in the strut tower, and doing this may actually move the whole tower over (a slight possibility). And beating it in will most likely leave it looking hacked up

Not if you replace all the seals like i did. Mine dosent leak a bit when in the rain.

If your gunna buy a t-top car, make it a DD.. like d-man said its kinda on the weaker side. And ditto to being a leakbox, i had an 86 t-top, even with new weatherstripping it still leaked... i hated that cause i loved that car

why dont you sell your current blower set up on ebay or something and combine the money with what you have saved and buy a cheap used powerdyne that still has warranty and is designed for your car, you can bolt it all on real quick

its good for the street but if your going to be launching hard at the track non stop you might want to go with a vortech or something a bit better/more expensive

Hmm we sold an 87 GT in better shape than that first one by a LONG shot for $1200. It was similar to the red car shown but an AOD.

I would say it isnt smart to have 2 project cars. Like said before, sell the blower you have, save a little and go out and buy a used S trim.

Yout don't buy a T-Top stang because its in perfect condition. You buy it because its a T-Top stang. heh. That said, the white one is a better deal...plus red on red hurts my eyes.

As far as the chassis strength and leaks....nothing that full length subframes and new gaskets can't fix. :D :D :nice:

As far as the power adder? A T-Top Fox3 is a cruiser car....not a racecar. You get in it and go for a drive, not drive a 1/4 mile.
