What octane do you run in your cobra?

I run 93 Octane on the street and on the drag strip as its my daily driver and track car all in one

TBH, i dont see how running a higher octane will HURT your performance. do you really think you'd actually NOTICE the performance loss from driving with 93 as opposed to 87? i seriously doubt it. maybe on a dyno or something, but daily driving or track driving, i would guesstimate no.

but hey thats just my opinion. I ran 89 in my 2002 GT, and sometimes 93, i would never run regular in it...ever

92 here, we don't have the option of 93. We do have 100 octane pump gas here though which I will be mixing with the 92 for my performance tune.

there is actually a difference between 93 and 87 octane in the way it burns, if your car is tuned for 87 octane and you put 93 octane in the car it could actually run about .2-.3 leaner than 87.

This has merely to do with the gravity of the fuel and the flash point of the different octanes. Something to think about.
