Control arms, frame connectors, lakewood or equivelant shocks and struts.

Suspension stuff. Tubular controls arms and such.

Subframe connectors are always a must.

Post some pics so we can get an idea what the car looks like.

It must run good already!! So how about something cosmetic??

Like a nice set of 17X9 wheels??

Need to know what you want the car to do...

Subframes are a must (no matter what).

Then you could go with lowering springs/shocks&struts for a better handling steet car, or you could go with a drag suspension.

Motor seems pretty stout right now. Could get a nitrous kit for it for an extra kick in the pants...

I'll assume you don't want to change any of the parts you have....but you could port and polish the heads and add some 1.7 roller rockers.

Then there are always brake upgrades (bigger system up front, rear disc conversion, etc.)

DING, DING, DING, HERE IS YOUR WINNER! Converter and transgo shift kit FTW.
If you don't have frame ties and a strut tower bar. That should be done ASAP!

Already has a converter(forgot to say that) I just sold my Cobra R's...im more of a 15" rim person than a big rim person(on my car at least). As for replacing stuff already on it, doesnt metter to me. The car is going to be a strip/street car hopefully.

I agree. a converter would wake it up, if not go with some quality suspension parts.

IMO the car would look great with out the stripes, just my opinion though

3G alternator from 94-95 Mustangs or other Ford. $20-$120. A must have to make the electrical system work like it should. You’ll need a 4 gauge power wire and a 125-135 amp fuse to go with it about $15- $30.

3G installation link:

See the 3G Alternator Install - Roland69 in the "Useful Technical Thread Index at the top of the 5.0 Tech forum. Everything you need to know is in there.

It Says "The HEARTBEAT Stops Here" since The Heartbeat was GM's "phrase"
