With all that you ran a 14????????????

No freegin way....you have a problem with your car.

My car ran a 12.79 @ 108.8 with just boltons and VT stg 1 cams on 275/15 Nitto DRs....this was my old 04 GT. Search your car over...you have something wrong. Check fuel pressure at load and A/F if you can...something is wrong.
Example is my dads 01 Lightning W/ dropin K&N...and that sucker was running mid 14s @ 94MPH the first trip to the track after he picked it up :(...second trip to the track we just let it set and cool down, then with VERY nice a cold weather (50s I think) we got a 14.2 @ 96 or 97. We were like crap...this isnt right.
Well we put it on the dyno and bingo...lean as heck but still made 330RWHP.

Got it tuned with just a 3# lower, K&N round filter and replaced a fuel pump (It was DEAD...only running off of 1 before that). Made 37X or 38X...WHOLE different truck. Ran a 13.1 @ 104 like it should, next trip out in 100% street trim.

Just an example...but point is, your car is NO WHERE close to where it should be. Thats not what you can expect....once you get it figured out you will put down 12s EASY on decent tires.

NOT MY NEW MOTOR!!!

the car only has 225rwhp, i think the car could get into the high 13's, but i dont have alot of experience, i have done 15, 1/4 mile passes in my life (im only 17) and 11 were last night :rlaugh:

Edit: this was with 1/2 tank of gas, spare tire, jack, everything in the car!!! NO weight reductions!!!
 
I hand ported a small block back in the mid 70 seventies before much was around in the way of after market heads. The heads I started with, off a 351 1970 vintage, just cleaned up the exhaust and intake runners nothing outrageous. Valve springs I used were out of a 427 ford nasty little buggers "Stout". Crower mid to high range cam. Spent weekends blowing the socks off 350 horse Corvettes. Little head work if done correctly goes far. Car was a 67 Cougar, that was two Cougars back. I still own one and am on number three 67 Cougar.
