I'll have to get back with you on that.
My chassis is about half complete.
My intentions are to chassis dyno tune, then take it to Pacific for some mph runs, ignition timing and fuel.
It will not 60' or ET very well in RR setup.

I built my junk to put 450 to the ground. Whether it does or not remains to be seen. Everyone else has done their job... it is all on me now... we will see.

John,
If you are going to run a chip, drop me a pm.
You aren't really close to where I am, but I think we could work something out to get you running with 42's

If I had my 351w to do over again....
I'd go straight to 90mm on the TB and MAF.

Really, if you are going to get a custom chip/J3 tune, then there is no reason not to run the 90mm LMAF...

I apologize to others for this sidetrack, but I feel compelled to do this....

Knowing some of the goofy stuff that you have typed, this may be one your dumbest comments ever

Do not drag your personal issues with others onto other boards.
You will be called on it!!!

If you have a problem with something that has happened on another board, then deal with it on that board, do not pollute this board.
Don't run to another board and push your personal agenda. I can't speak for others, but I WILL NOT look the other way.

And,
Just so everyone is clear....
I highly recommend Jay Allen of Camshaft Innovations.
Products are of the highest quality, and Inspected/Verified as such.
Customer Service is beyond belief.
You cannot go wrong.
I will not see a 'commission' for the above comments, and neither will any of Jays other customers who make similar statements.
David needs to grow up or STFU!

Again, my apologies for the sidetrack rantings.

I know you don't Dana. You put the recommendations when they are needed, not every time you hit the reply button, nor do you say that CI is the "best" without having several experiences.

Assumptions, assumptions....... how many experiences, reiterating, experiences do you have to say the opposite? How can you assume the number (or lack of) experiences another member has without really knowing? View attachment 301844 .... black magic or voodoo?

View attachment 301858.... SMOKEDYA, a custom cam will ensure the best performance and driveability (if that's a requirement) based on your current setup + it will make sure your current parts performance potential is maximized..... based on my humble experience of the past 20 yrs. and my updated little knowledge base of the last 3 years....... yep, CI is your best choice....... IMHO.

well now this is going to be stupid and a stupid mistake.....but i ordered the voodo cam package,BUT i will do a custom cam eventually!I will probably go with ed or jay on my choice i have heard tons of good about both! Jason i will be doing a LMAF and 42's and will see what you have to say when i get to that point, do you tune? I probably wont go to a 90MM throttle body cause if i remember right my inlet on the upper isnt that big? I could always port it to match tho? I've heard good from jeff here at AFP and also the mustang ranch? up there somewhere by you! I'm thinking for now i will use an SCT chip then next year (2010) go DFI? or some other computer. I'm really hoping for 400/400 RW #'s! peace

I don't do it professionally... I just dabble
That setup should be pretty easy to dial in though.
Moates gear or tweecer if you want to learn to do it yourself.
There is a shop called 'Blood Enterprises' that I have heard good things about. Never been there myself though.

Not sure where the Mustang Ranch is? That used to be the name of a Mustang specific wrecking yard in Clearview
but I though they closed down.

No apology needed Jason. Obviously no one is getting commission, but you would think so with some people's postings. That was my point and nothing needs to be taken so literal on the internet.

Also, I did not realize anything happened on another board (honestly) Unless there is something I am not aware of.

I have the ignore feature on a couple members because I do not care to see there post, so I apologize to them.

Back on topic for the OP (my bad) Bowing out.

I was NOT apologizing to you!

You made a very rude and underhanded comment in order to undermine the integrity of another person on this board.
You won't get an apology from me, when you are the one who needs to make the apology.

Another problem with your above comments, is that YES, things on the internet should be taken seriously.
People like you seem to think that the internet is a completely different world, where the people you respond to only exist for your amusement/benefit.
You will take advantage of anyone you can and then talk crap about them on other boards.
Double talk
Snake in the grass
weasle
two-faced
They all seem to apply....

Finally,
I'm calling BS that you don't know that you have been called out elsewhere. You have logged in... just didn't have the courage to step up.

Shoot me a pm if you like
jason

EDIT:
I wanted to address this a little more directly....

Then why make the comment?

Would you have taken offense if this had been stated about you?

And btw... the same could easily have been said about you on many occassions.

What is it you are suggesting?

That if I have a good experience with a company/individual, I should keep it to myself?

I shouln't suggest that company/individual to others, because then they might 'think' (what you do isn't thinking David), that I just making the recommendation because it will benefit me monetarily?

Your comment was idiotic at best David.

And what really gets me is, you KNOW better.
