How comes when some one posts a ligitimet question on here you can't get a real answer. But when some posts something about hey lest see some pictures of your car or this or that everyone post to this forum. Does nobody have any answers for real questions or does the only questions that get anwered here are should you swap your tailights out for a later model or does this loook good on my car or what kinda of horsepower should i be making. Seriously I've asked many questions on here only to get no anwers but if i put a picture up and asked others to do the same I bet I'd get a better response.

Well..... it's just that the same questions get asked on here over and over again. Usually the person posting has not tried the "search" function. I've been guilty a couple of times myself. That's just not the way it's supposed to be. I do remember specifically, however, trying to help you on a cooling issue....

So what questions do you have?

EDIT: BTW, are you drunk? J/K man. Lighten up.... there's lots of knowledgeable people on here with answers to almost anything, whether it be mechanical, electrical, bodywork, etc.

Well, from what I can tell a lot of your questions were on an explorer engine and were about the ignition ect. You asked about side scoops. And the others look to be mostly answered. People on here can only give you suggestions on the information you provide them, and they can only offer what they know. So don't get bent out of shape when someone doesn't have the right answer for you. Some times it takes a while to get a problem fixed and a lot of trouble shooting. Trust me a lot of guys on here have put money into their car and were frustrated when it still didn't work right and then had to keep going at it.

yea, mechanical gets old after a while... and depending on the difficulty, not many people have good answers

besides, we like to show off our cars and look at pretty pictures

a lot of it has to do with how you ask the question too

Well said Brandon.

Horsesnake, I think I replied to your last thread (which appears to have been a source of frustration - the one about your cooling system). If we took the original post in that thread at face value, I dont think anyone could provide a lot of help from a keyboard. There was not a lot of ancillary info provided in the original post. So there was not a lot to work with.

It often comes down to having the post seen by 'the right guy at the right time'. That can take some time or just plain luck.

We have all been there. Don't get frustrated by it or the people on the forum. Forums like this are amazing (those of you old enough to remember a time before computers know what it was like being younger and trying to figure things out all by one's-self).

Anyhow, Good luck with everything. If you can, provide more info (BTW, were you basing anything from the stock temp gauge? If so, grab even a 10 dollar parts store mech gauge and use that for a little bit). But provide as much info as you can, and that helps people to help you. No one posts on here (that I know of. LOL) because they get paid to. They do it because they like helping others while learning themselves.

Best of luck!

Maybe we just don't like you and don't wanna answer any of your questions

lol jk it gets better in time as people get to know you. The more you post and talk the more people are inclined so to speak to answer questions. There are a lot of cool guys on here that are very smart when it comes to stangs you just gotta become more like one of the family. All the newbies go through it. Then you get friends off the site that help you out using other methods like AIM and stuff that can give you 1 on 1 help. Hell hit me up on AIM I'll help with what i can I'll admit I'm not one of the smart guys with all the answers but i'll try my best.
