The issue is not if they will work![]()
They have been out for a long time ... that is the focus here.
They were made to work with the older style oem heads.
Companies like TFS, Edelbrock, AFR, Crane, Comp and the like have moved on to different products as time marched on and the technology improved.
To me, an analogy to this topic of discussion would be the fox pcm retro-fit in our cars.
Once upon a time it was a good thing.
Still works today.
Its just not as effective as other methods of tuning available today.
Just my thoughts on why I think this way.
