The issue is not if they will work :nono:

They have been out for a long time ... that is the focus here.

They were made to work with the older style oem heads.

Companies like TFS, Edelbrock, AFR, Crane, Comp and the like have moved on to different products as time marched on and the technology improved.

To me, an analogy to this topic of discussion would be the fox pcm retro-fit in our cars.

Once upon a time it was a good thing.
Still works today.
Its just not as effective as other methods of tuning available today.

Just my thoughts on why I think this way.

:nice: :D

i had the F-cam and i was pleased with it. had a nice idle but made good power. i'm sure with a newer more customized cam, and by customized i mean to work more with the supporting hardware you have not a universal like the ford cams, you could make better power. check into AFM, i really like the quality of his products. his tech help is really good. when u call, you talk to Rick himself.

as far as the question at hand...i would port the lower, get a bigger TB, MAF, and injectors. from there you can do a cam and heads. i find it easier to do the supporting hardware first before the actually big ticket stuff goes in. don't forget to upgrade your fuel pump as well.

or u can just get blown or bottle fed....
