What to plug back of heads with after smog removal?

Today, I simply cut off all the tubing from the part that bolts to the heads. I then swapped them on the opposite sides with a little RTV on it, and bolted them back up backwards. Easy as pie!

hey a little of topic but when you remove the pump it self, can you just run a shorter belt? No need to fab an idler there instead? Thanx for the help

I just run a shorter belt on mine. There is no need for an idler pulley.

You don't need a size to use "miley_stang"s method. Use use the bolts already there. You are flipping over the hollow caps which are flat on the back and using them as block offs. So you bolt them on, just like they were. You don't have to buy anything.

And does anyone have the lenth of the belt to save some time. Thanx for the help
