Hello everybody. Putting a 5.0 in a 66 coupe. AOD trans came from a 1990 Merc Grand Marquis. Getting ready to crank it up for the first time. Went to my local parts place to find out what type trans fluid to use. He said it was either Mercon III or Mercon 5, I'd have to ask my local Ford dealer or look on the dipstick. Do any of you know which one to use? I don't want to fry the AOD...worked on this project too long!
