Mod the GT, I did! I saved a ton of money that way too because 4V parts are way more expensive than for the 2V.

You take two equal cars with the same mods, one with an auto, and one with a stick and a driver who knows how to drive, and the stick wins. The only time an auto is good is on psychotically fast drag cars where 4 manual shifts just aren't reasonable.

I agree. A Mustang is the wrong car to buy to sell.
Some day you will want a different car. I've had at least 15 cars andSome day you will want a different car. I've had at least 15 cars and
they all gave me excellent resale. They dont sit in a garage either, I drive
around 20k per year. The main thing with resale is not milage but condition.
Keep them clean and running perfect and you will be glad you did.
If I had a pure track car then wtf.... tear it up. My stang can be returned to stock
cause I dont really want any irreversible mods. As we all know mods ad zero
value when you go to sell........ and you will.
I already want another car (mainly DD purposes), so I'll go buy one in a year. But my Mustang isn't going anywhere.

All I'm saying is that resale value shouldnt be the reason you pass on modding your car. Should you keep it clean and do basic maintainance so that when the day comes to sell her you get top dollar? Of course! But sacrificing something that you want just because someone else 5 years down the line might not like it is ridiculous IMO...
And I can guarantee that not EVERYONE will want to sell their car at some point - I've had mine 6 and a half years (it was my first car) and I'll own it till the day I die.

Thats what people say about there current girlfriend too.![]()
