http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...m=260013144626&ih=016&sspagename=STRK:MEBI:IT this is what im starting with im planning on powdercoating the spindles and parts and putting a cobra upgrade on it before the install. do you like yours? they stop better? worth doing?
i love mine and i have alot better breaking performance but you have to realize i also have the drilled and slotted rotors i bought off e-bay for about $160 but you can't beat this upgrade for the price even with buying the rotors and i sold my old calipers on e-bay for $40..

i plan on rebuilding the whole system but i figured this was a good start.
did you have to change steering or make any modifications other than the lower ball joint and the strut shims?

since no one helped me ill try to help you
1.brakes awsome for stopping.
2.exhaust is no good,it helps sound, but if car is stock adding a set of flowmasters will do just as good maybe better than complete exhaust.2 1/4 exhaust is good to 300hp is what bassani claims.mufflers do most of work providing the stock h-pipe is free and clear.
3.gears is beyond a shadow of a dought the most you will actually feel.it doesnt change hp but boy does it change how quick it gets to the power band.

exhaust is done i had to do it since the old stuff was falling off so went with stainless magnaflow catback, bbk alumadized h pipe with cats and ceramic coated bbk headers. gears are in the future for gas reasons and the hp for now means nothing to me since my engine is still running but when it goes its going to be nasty. i was thinking you would want to prepare for the hp befor you get there. i had a friend that was dead set on more hp but he didnt upgrade anything else... well he went thru more than one fox while we were in high school 3 to be exact. so i want a good car not a fast car.

true this vert is my 5th.it had the 4.10s when i got it.also had 2.25inch offroad h-pipe with 2.5 inch flows.car sounds awsome but is occasionally to loud.i havent upgraded my car domain, it s coming soon but i added drilled and slotted rotors to the factory gt binders and didnt make a hole lot of difference so when they wear out i will upgrade higher. i also put chrome cobra r's on and it made a ride difference.i am pleased with the power i guess, i installed cobra upper and lower and bbk headers.next for engine will be heads then 2.5 inch x-pipe.also for sake of knowing the 4.10s were great with aod but know that i put in a 5 spd its a bit much.dont get me wrong its fun until you get used to switching three gears in a matter of moments.i think ill go down to 3.73's.gas mileage w/ 4.10's is awsome.in town usually 26-28mpg hghwy at 70 is 23-24mpg

all i have is bbk springs with energy susp. bushings all the way through. it feels good but could be better.also deffinatly put shock tower brace on .after putting subframes and shock tower brace on my car the change was awsome and will deffinatly be a first mod on any of my cars from know on.
