Wheel cleanup

Hey guys,

I just bought on old set of 10 hole wheels for my 90 lx and I'm wondering if you guys have any tips on getting them back into prime condition. I tried power wash and some dish sponge scrubbing but drastic measures are still in order. Any ideas?

Are they oxidized? (i.e. surface is rough to the touch).

If they are, no amount of cleaning will get them back to "prime" condition. The only real solution to oxidation is to strip the wheels and put on new clearcoat.

I did some research and it looks like I'll probably try the strip route.
