where do I put the sending unit on an 06 GT

I am doing a blower install on a buddies 06 GT. We installed a Procharger PS1C witha 3 core intercooler....not to hard to do. Anyway, he has fuel pressure gauge he wants to install, but I have no friggin clue where to mount the sending unit. any Ideas?

so I called Autometer last night...you have to buy an adapter from another company to install te sending unit. so those of you wanting to put in a fuel pressure gauge in an 05+ call METCO @ 864-332-5929 the part is 29.50 and it mounts on the driver side fuel rail.

you need the GEN II Billet Fuel Pressure Gauge Kit, plugs right into fuel rail. works perfect.

Anyone running this setup? Looks like a nice deal but I'm leary of dealing with RPM due to the many horror stories.

you can get a similar product from summit or jegs. similarly priced as well. those are well known mail order companies with a good reputation.

I bought mine from RPM outlet, and it works great BUT it won't fit under my CDC shaker so I had to do something else. I have the adaptor kit for sale, $25 + shipping if anyone needs one.

yeah the kit works great for me...and it fits fine under my hood(factory). very happy with it, but as bigcat said, you can get a similar piece, im sure its just as great, its just a milled piece of aluminium. haha. good luck

I used the Metco adapter. Run the wiring through the shock tower and behind the inner fender well (front half). There's also a big grommet on the firewall with a nice spot for your wires to run through. I used some of that corregated harness tubing that's already all over the car.
