I'll be able to answer your questions after I get home...I believe the TPS tap goes into the center TPS wire, but let me check first.

Sorry to go off topic...but that STI is an IMPRESSIVE daily driver! Quite honestly, if I owned both, I would be tempted to use the 5.0 as a daily driver and modify the STI.
My friend has an 05 STI. I beat him with my 5.0 as it sits now, but he's planning on adding a UTEC ECU tuner to it and a downpipe in addition to his cat-back exhaust and drop in K&N. He expects a solid 50 more horsepower and I expect him to walk me.
ive had the sti for about 5 months now and it is bone stock except for the radio. it handles like a dream, stops on a dime, and has quite a bit of pull on demand. i get about 20mpg, have a/c, and couldnt ask for better manners on the street. i drive an average of 100 miles per day to and from work as well as errands. aside from not wanting to risk any warranty problems, i also dont want to sacrifice any reliability since the car has been so good to me less far. i have the mustang to satisfy my need to get wrenching for that very reason. i will tell you though, the sti is a blast to drive, but nothing can beat the torque of a rear wheel drive american sports car (even though the sti has my gt beat by 85hp and 15lb/ft right out of the box) i would trade it in a heartbeat to have my cobra back though.

My buddy's figuring to run high 12s with his UTEC, K&N, and turbo-back exhaust setup while retaining all of his comfortable street manners...if he pulls it off, and it certainly sounds/looks like he will, I'll be DAMNED impressed.

I have everything hooked up except the red and the white wire because I just got a really bad storm here which sucks. It has been pouring and lightning for about an hour. I can't go outside without getting sucked so is the middle wire the one that is white with a red stripe?
Also I can't seem to locate the grommet I'm probably just an idiot so pics later would be helpful and since it's pouring out now no need to rush. Thanks.

I don't mind getting off topic either so why did you sell your 03 Cobra? I want one so bad.
stupidity.....my ex, who was obviously using me ended up losing her car. i was driving 200+ miles a week taking her wherever she needed to go. i was spending an average of $500 a month on gas. so to fix the situation, instead of making the right choice and getting rid of the ex, i got rid of the cobra for an 02 is300. soon after, i sold my first 94 gt (everything done to it but the bottom end), to pay off the credit card debt that i accumulated because of her. shortly after, i caught her cheating on me and broke up with her. that same day i passed by the subaru dealership and bought the car im driving now. 2 weeks ago, i bought another 94 gt, this one is bone stock and im starting again from scratch. oh well, all i can do is learn from my mistakes and never do it again.

I fed the red wire through so we don't have to worry about that. But how did everyone connect the electronics inside?
Anyone have any confirmation on which wire it is on the TPS? The one in the middle of mine is all white? Is that the one?
