Shift by the sounds of the engine. I shift somewhere between 2000-2500 RPM intervals. Some guys push it to 3000RPM's.

Ummm PonyBoy, I'm guessing that he means at WOT, but I guess that would do too.

92Stang302, I would take a shot in the dark and say between 5600-5800RPM, but it's really going to depend on where your power falls off. Generally speaking, you're optimal shift point should be about 200RPM past your peek. Your combo looks good, but it’s probably a good time to upgrade from your stock MAF and Intake manifold. They seem to be the bottleneck in your list right now.

Try 5400 and just work your way up. Keep track of your time slips by writing notes on them.

spend a few bucks and get a couple of dyno pulls then you can see where your horsepower starts to drop off. If I had to guess I would say 5800 rpm

That's what I would say. That stock intake starts to really choke the engine at 5,000 rpm. 5,200-5,400 will probably be about right IMO. You can shift a little higher in first and second, but I would guess you should be shifting out of third by about 5,200 rpm.
