Where to shift at ?

At the moment im curious where i should be shifting at so far here is a list of the general mods:


B303 Cam
65mm throttle body
65mm egr plate
GT40 heads (less then 1500miles, w/ 3 angle valve job, new burrilium valve guides and seals)
Crane 1.7 RR
Trick Flow valve springs
MSD Blaster Coil
190 Fuel pump
BBK long tube headers
BBK Off-road h-pipe
Flowmaster 2 chamber muffs
Richmond 3.55:1 gears
A/C Delete

:scratch: Ummm PonyBoy, I'm guessing that he means at WOT, but I guess that would do too. :D

92Stang302, I would take a shot in the dark and say between 5600-5800RPM, but it's really going to depend on where your power falls off. Generally speaking, you're optimal shift point should be about 200RPM past your peek. Your combo looks good, but it’s probably a good time to upgrade from your stock MAF and Intake manifold. They seem to be the bottleneck in your list right now.

That's what I would say. That stock intake starts to really choke the engine at 5,000 rpm. 5,200-5,400 will probably be about right IMO. You can shift a little higher in first and second, but I would guess you should be shifting out of third by about 5,200 rpm.
