Which rockers with AFR 165's?

I was at Maple Grove this weekend and I was looking at Harland Sharpe rockers and they told me that the AFR head was not a true inline head and that I needed rockers that were $290 instead of $225. He said that the positioning is off and I need the more victor jr, ones. Is this true or can i use the inline head version of Harland Sharp or the blue FMS ones?
Any other rocker suggestions are appreciated.

My friend ran scorpions with his afr 165's. Worked just fine. I run ford racing 1.6's, work just fine too

They are inline style. I run $195.00 scorpions on mine which FTI recommended. Any brand will work but I've heard of problems with the comp cams pro magnums and AFR heads. I believe it is a stud issue. The best move would be to upgrade to 7/16 studs while your there.

Yep I had Ed upgrade my studs from 3/8's to 7/16's for $30 bucks more.

He suggested to use the Scorpion 1.6's he sells for my car. They look to nice of a piece to be underneath valve covers They are a real nice quality and have worked flawlessly since I have had them...

I have Comp Cams Pro Magnum rockers for my Edelbrock heads. Chromeoly steel that are lighter at the valve than any aluminum rocker.....a lot stronger too.

Getting back to the inline head theory of AFR's i was told my the Harland Sharpe guy that although they said to use an inline head rocker, he said that the Victor Jr. rocker lined up better. any thoughts?

I personally have AFR 165's and I run scorpion 1.6's. I like them lots!
