Which size wheel spacers do you run?

What size spacers are you guys running on 03/04 cobras with 17 x 10.5 rims and 315 non-nittos?

Also, do you have the type that use the existing studs and extended reach lug nuts or the larger ones with integrated studs?

You can run upto 1/2"....but you need extended lugs. 3 inchers should do. Someone I know has 18X11.5 wheels on their Mach 1, with 1/2 spacer and extended lugs....it looks mean with a 345-35-18 tire.

As far as your second question....I have no idea.

Most people get the modified IRS bolts from Maximum Motorsports and their 10.5" wheels fit fine without spacers...

Not true. All 315 tires excepts the Nitto will rub the sidewall (on the IRS bolt) at full suspension travel.

I run 3/8 in spacers, extended lugs, and the button head IRS bolts from MM.

U.M.

So 3/8" spacers with extended lugs and a button head IRS bolt should give me enough clearance to safely mount 315 Goodyear GS-D3 out back with 17 x 10.5 wheels?

I wanted spacers with the integrated studs in a 1/2" or 5/8" size, but it seems like they only come in 1" plus sizes which seems like overkill. If 3/8" will do the trick I'll probably get that.

YES!

1 inch would definitely be overkill, the rear end would look like a pregnant roller skate. GY GS-D3 315's +1 in spacer will stick out quite a bit past the fender well lip. May even require rolling of the lip somewhat.

Sumi's will fit too, but are a waste of $$.

I have 1/4" with 3" studs on 315 BFG's. I did have to modify my IRS bolt too though.

If you got 2003 type wheels and need Spacers, I got the original spacers designed just for the 03 cobra wheels by a guy on SVTPERF who had an 03...PM me.

I got a solid A now and dont need no stinking spacers for that IRS bolt issue!!!

Not sure the sizes, I will find the parts and let you know. I got two sets.

What about 18 x 10.5? Would a 3/8" spacer still be sufficient?
