Okay so I have about 4500 dollars to work with for my next modification to my 2000 GT. To date so far I have BBK shorty headers, x-pipe, flowmaster prochamber exhaust, 3:73 gears, BBK 75mm throttle body and intake elbow, intake spacer, C&L cold air intake, with 80mm MAF, MGW short throw shifter, full suspension: 5 was adjustable shocks and struts, sway bars, subframe connectors, upper and lower control arms, caster/camber plates and the car is tuned with a Diablo Predator tuner. Now here is what I'm trying to decide on. Either I'm going to go with all forged internals, cobra crank, pistons, rods, new patriot stage 2 heads, and crower stage 3 blower cams, or I'm going to go ahead and order a Procharger with the D1 head unit and just run about 10 lbs of boost until I get forged internals. What ever I upgrade it's going to be about another year before I will be able to talk the wife into letting me modify something else. What should I do? Also I'm not sure about running blower cams on a N/A motor, is this possible if I go that route? Thanks for your help!

If you plan on doing the work yourself....I'd go with forging the internals....then save up for a KB 2.2 next year and be happy....ever since I got my s/c....I've wanted to forge the internals to up the boost....but it's gonna be forever before I can afford that....overhaulin the engine is going to cost me more than the s/c cuz I can't do all the work myself...or I would have done that first

Blow now build later. I've heard bad things about patriot heads.

I've got Patriot stage 2 heads and they are great. I think Patriot initially had problems with quality but apparently they got them worked out long ago.

Brakes

definately upgrade to BIGGER BRAKES!!!

I've upgraded to Cobra 13 inch front brakes and 11 inch rear, you think that will be sufficient or should I go with Brembo or Baer?

Went with Procharger

Okay guys, I just ordered my procharger stage 2 with the D1 head upgrade :D , I plan on installing this myself and then having it dyno tuned and a shop near by. Has anyone ever installed one before? How hard is it and is there any unforseen problems I should expect? The place I bought it from said it should take between 8-10 hours, is that about right?
