Ok i think thats the way im going I looked at the Hellion kit...pricy but comes with everything to do the Job...there is 2 things i dont like about the kit...i might have to ditch the smog pump which i dont want to do if i dont have to...I live in NJ and they suck here....2nd you can not use a chambered mufflers.......They reccomend a straight thru design..so who makes a good cat back with a nice tone that is straight thru?? Is magnaflow exhaust cat back straight thru??

Depends on how loud you want it. Dynomax offers a few straight through style mufflers. If you still want it to be somewhat loud go with bullets or just a straight pipe. I run a open downpipe and its not that loud.

Straight throughs are not mandatory, regardless of the instructions. I had Dynomax Superturbos and flowmaster 40 series mufflers on my old incon twin setup without any issues. The car was super quiet, and a real sleeper.

My friend runs a Hellion kit. It keeps the smog pump, and with a stock motor, Ebrock intake, flowmaster CB and that base kit made 360/420 to the tire. He bought same race bullitts and had a 331 built, but the car hasn't been finished yet.

I ran my car here in Jersey with no smog pump the entirety of the ownership of my car. My car passed with flying colors with no smog pump and a stock h pipe everytime. Even with the GT-40-E303-Explorer Combo. I dont thing there is any kit that wont allow the use of a smog pump.

The dynomax superturbos are a turbo style muffler and not chambered like the flows. Dont run any chammered muffler unless you want to lose power! If you want me to I can upload a very short video of my car on the dyno with bullets that are dumped.

I like the Heelion kit i dont mind spending the money on something that is good...But i was told over at the TurboForums that the new hellion kit you have to delete the smog stuff i realy dont want to if i dont have to,,,but it it means me bolting up a turbo then i guess i will loose the smog......

What times did your friend run with the Hellion kit? also when he bought that kit was it complete? what did he need to do just get a good tune?

Just get rid of that smog pump!!!! You dont need it! I went through state inspection with just a stock h pipe and MAC cat back and no smog pump and passed with flying colors. Are you gonna run cats with the turbo set up anyway?

Car never went to the track, not sure how fast it would have been, my guess is somewhere in the 12s by how it drove and felt. Car should be a 450-500 rwhp car once everything gets sorted out.

His Hellion kit was bought a few years back so they might have changed things. His keeps the smog stuff.

His kit also allowed for a cat to be used. His allows for it to be taken in and out.
