Alright, I am tired of seeing ads and hearing talk about what the magazines said about this intake. Who on here is running it? Do you like it? Did you gain as much as they say? Are you SC? Any pics?

I was at the 2004 SEMA show in Vegas and saw it and it looked awesome. I spoke with the BBK guys there and it sounds like something I want to try but I want some customer input first.

Do you guys think that this will be a good intake for a SC? I am only running 6lbs of boost but by spring maybe pushing 9lbs. Let me know what you guys think!

I have seen this come up on here a few times and no takers. Maybe someone in the fox section is running it?

I know I LOVE how it looks too...

i am not aware of anyone with a 94/95 running one. i also really like the way they look. i hear they are pretty tall tho and may not fit under a stock hood.

good luck finding someone and let us know if you decide to be the first.

On one of the many SSI threads someone said that BBK will make a 94\95 specific SSI intake because of the hood clearance problems. I've also not heard of anyone running one, but perhaps with a cowl hood and a Fox TB conversion (or adapter elbow?) SNs could run it.

I have not heard any negative feedback on this product on any of the other websites, all positive. Except for of course the 94/95 hood clearance problem. I have chose to install this product on my 89 next spring over the Cobra/Explorer intake. I think what brought me to this selection is that it comes with the new fuel rales and off course the look of it. It is about time someone made an aftermarket intake with a different look that the boring intake that everyone is used to. I wish I could afford the intake now so I could put some feedback on the thread of its performance but doesn't seem like I will have it installed or ordered until Spring '06. I would also love to hear anyones feedback on this item.

Hopefully I'll be able to see your SSI in person since you're local!

It barely fits under the hood of a fox. let alone an SN95.

is it a two piece upper and lower design, or is one piece. Not that is't really good idea, but if its a two piece you could mill the upper till you have enough clearance. But your most likely going to loose low end tourqe if i am not mistaken.

It is a two-piece, that is, upper and lower. I have heard rumors that you can pull the valve covers without removing the upper. Don't know if they're true though. The biggest problem that I see with the SSI intake is, noone has them. I mean, no STORES have them. I'll wait for a couple of years, until the price goes down, to get one. They look cool with than dual-plenum design, though.

Only gained 7 hp? WTF did he think he was gonna pick up? I'd say that's about all I could imagine it could pick up over a TFS intake. Kinda surprised to hear it was that BIG of a difference.

To me 7 hp over a trickflow is would be considered an excellent gain. Just from switching from one aftermarket intake to another.

Imo this is probably the nicest looking intake I have seen. GIaning 7 hp over a tfs intake is pretty damn impressive...the only downside is that its really expensive! Its in the new sumitt catalogue and its like 570...but on their site they have 2 of them, both for 5.0s that look exactly the same except one is like 760 and the other is 570..idk why

well a month ago i went to brothers to pick up some parts and while i was in there i asked them about it and they told me that it wont fit under the hood of a SN95 and when i told them about my cobra R hood then they said that might work. Also at that time they didnt have it in stock....
