why am i bogging off the line

Another possibility could be what is the altitude of the track you are running at? For instance say you usally drive near sea lvl but the track is located at 1500-2000 ft above sea lvl. What is good jetting for your car at sea lvl is actually extremely rich if the track is higher alt. You could need a leaner tune at the track.

prepped track

I run at a local eight mile the track is usually prepped pretty well, I dont even do a burnout if I plan to leave under 5000 rpm, I now weight transfer would would speed my 60ft,but I COULD transfer weight just fine if it wouldnt bog, I had the Identical set up in my 93 except it was injected, cobra intake,73mm MAF, and 24lb injectors, it also has MSD ignition, the only other difference is a 4 cylinder t-5, it doesnt bog and on a good launch it goes mid 1.7s, I just dont know if this is typical of carbed stick cars, or if it could be fine tuned out with the carb, I run 36 degrees of ignition timing that is fully advanced by 3000. its a stock distributor I have modified, maybe ignition, maybe something little am missing, I just know If I can get the bog out this contraption should really haul the mail.

bingo. The 4 cyl tranny has real easy gearing. So say you have 3.73s...they are alot more like 4.30s

like dean says 4 banger tranny's have a much lower 1st gear in comparison to the v-8 t-5's.
4 bangers could have a first gear ratio of 3.97 the svo t-5 had a 3.5 gear ratio in first. The v-8 t-5's could have been 3.35 or 2.95 in first. So as you can see you could have lost a whole lot of gear going from a 4 banger to a v-8 t-5.

I wouldnt even look into the tranny rations as being an issue. Your car is making similar power to mine, judging by traps and it shouldnt be bogging even with a 2.95 tranny. The carb stuff is new to me, so that youd be on your own, but could it possibly be a clutch issue?

I think it's the clutch too. I was going to post that yesterday. With 3.73's and a 5spd you shouldn't be bogging at all, under any circumstances. If you are launching @5k and your hooking dead nuts without even a squeek out the tires something isn't right. You should at least get a loud chirp out of the slicks when the sidewalls flex and the tires grab. In fact once in a blue moon I can pull a 1.9x on radials. Carbed cars are different. You're timing could be very retarded as well. How sure are you that your balancer hasn't slipped and that your timing isn't way off? That stuff happens. Also, if your leaving @5k the squirters in the carb aren't going to make that big of a difference since it's already opened way up. I know that you have already worked on the carb a lot but another thing to consider is the amount of fuel that you are dumping into the motor. Spark plug gap? How much ompression does the motor have?

compression is about 9.5 I think i found the problem with a weak ignition, I wont know till my local track opens back up they shut down to renew the surface, they took up all the asphault and placed concret 100ft past the finish line I also think my pressure plate is releasing too fast, it should slip a little shouldnt it. I guess i gotta change my driving style by easing of the clutch. If that doesnt work then I get back into the carb. ie pump cams and maybe a different power valve. Now I got new issues.

Now that I think about it- you would have a different ignition than an injected car right? An MSD would help if that's the case. Most everybody here, including myself, neglected to notice that. Try having your distributor curved. That was one of my first mods when I had carbed cars....it's been a while.
