Yesterday i put on my "winter" wheels and tires which are really some beat to crap 17x9 fake ass "cobra" painted wheels (which has all pitted) and some type "r" crap performance tires (figure their softer = better for winter). i change them also so all the road grime and salt dosent get on my nice chromes. ok well this is what im wondering now that u understand how beat these tires and wheels are.. and one of the tires tread wear is crazy cause it had a cut in it which is now patched.. but when i drove on them today for the first time, i was amazed by how smooth the car drove, and the wierd thing was i can now wind down the rpm's all the way down like a normal mustang w/o cams should be able to and experience no shaking and rocking outta my damn seat. ever since my cams i have to push the clutch in over 1500 rpm to save my drivetrain from falling off.. in EVERY gear.. and the car had real bad response to throttle in 5th and was realllly shaky in low rpm when decelerating under 2500 rpm. now its like it used to be before the cams, and i dont understand how the smaller wheels and tires did this, if this is the case, im going to consider buying some chrome 17" wheels in the spring, although the looks of the saleens cant be beaten.
