Ok so this is the reason I just started my thread yesterday about the 85 Mustang GT Build-up. (http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=750127) I have been helping my friend put his 87 Mustang GT back together. So Here is how it goes then pics at the end. Found the car in a local barn around here, had stock 87 bottom-end with 130,xxx miles. Didnt do a thing to body just wash it lol. Put 1993 Cobra GT40's, FRPP Ford Racing Upper And Lower Intake, FRPP E-Cam, FRPP 24lb Injectors, Zex 130hp Shot, Walbro 190lph pump, SN95 Full Brake Swap, Mickey Thompson E/T Streets on 18" Saleens.
When to Bristol Dragway and run 12.8's@111mph, well when we got home he said f*** it lets put a fresh motor in it so thats what we did. Joey Robinson Racing Engines 308ci (Fully Balanced & Blueprinted), P&P GT40P Heads, Full Comp Valve Train, Comp Cams Nitrous HP Camshaft, and more with a 200hp Shot. Its not fully together yet it waiting to go in car but this will give you a idea on what kinda work we do! (O yeh the reason for using this setup and not going with high buck aluminum head is his goal was low 12's and we were already in the high 12's and a friend of ours has a simular setup with a few different things and a smaller shot and ran 12.1@113 at bristol so we went a little farther than him but not to far lol
