Will 3" tailpipes fit with 17X10.5 wheels and 315 series tires?

I run 17X10.5 wheels with 6.75" BS and 315-35-17 nitto DR's. I've always run the stock tail pipes on my car but now I want something bigger and better. I'm leaning towards 3" tail pipes from http://www.trubendz.com as they are priced well and they have been helpful via email. My only concern is that I may have rubbing issues with the 315's and a 3" tail pipe. Yeahloh95 also mentioned to me that I may have clearance issues with control arms as well. Does anyone here run a FULL 3" tail pipe (not just the tips)? If so, what clearance issues have you faced?

And for those running 315's out back, what size of tail pipes have you run and have you had any rubbing issues?

Running 315's out back.

My Mac 2.5in cat back with 3 in tips rubbed on the tires (the tips) but i was able to bend the hangers a bit to clear. The 2.5in piping already is VERY close to rubbing on the upper control arms, at least on my car.

I would also be curious to hear from those that have run full 3 in with 315's as that too is my plan for the new exhaust.

I run BFG's 315/35 Lowered 1.5" and U/L Control arms with NO rubbing. took a little tweaking with the hangers. An advantage to the MAC,s with the ball coupling at the tails is you can tweak ALOT.

I have a hybrid System, 3" headers, midpipe and 2.5" catback. Never seemed to hurt my power though.

Will they do those in SS?

i have 10.5" rims with 315's and my magnaflow catback with 3.5" tips doesn't rub. I don't remember exactly how close it is off hand though. They should fit but like the others said you'll probably have to tweak them a little.
