Hehe, now we're having a technical discussion. You would be surprised at how simple my combo is really:
Stock block/bottom end
Stock Cam
Exploder intake($120)
Stock TB
TFS Heads(got em used for $620, used a Paypal 10% coupon on Ebay..LOL)

But I see where you're coming from. I've just never been impressed with the PD blowers on the pushrod stuff considering the price you have to pay for it. It works and they are super fun(I do have a Lightning also) but they just don't seem to flow enough air for a h/c/i 302+ci engine because they don't want to put the effort into it like they have with the modular cars(market demand is the reason why I'm sure) Being that your car is heavier than a fox, the PD blower really helps your car out and is fun I'm sure. Not knocking it at all, just got to remember that 95% of people really care about track performance for their $$$ and I feel you can do better for the $$$ when comparing the Roots/Twin Screw blowers to other options for the pushrod cars.

Here is a video of my car on the dyno. Watch the boost gauge(middle one) and you'll see how much it "lags". Remember, this is on the dyno in 4th gear and lower RPM...imagine it on the street in say first or second...laggy as hell!!!!

To be fair...what I saw is you bring it up slowly to about 2,700RPM, then nail it under load on the dyno....where to be honest both the boost and power production seemed a little "lazy" until about 3,000RPM. That's about typical for a tubo set up (but I've seen much worse). We all know Turbo's perform best under load. As a matter of fact, I bet it actually comes on harder in 4th, than it does in first....am I wrong?

I'm not knocking your car in any way at all. It seems like a very compitent build....but you really haven't shown me anything I don't already know. The real question is....what's it like from a dead stop coming off idle, without loading the turbo(s) up.

Mine start making boost almost right off idle and crack 10psi by about 1,500-1,700RPM and stays there till red line (actually drops down to about 9psi by red line because of the flow limits of the blower...but you get the point).

Different builds, different power bands. Both set ups seem to do their intended jobs well.

It doesn't lag at all in first, it'll make 10psi just as fast as your blower will. The point of that video is to show it'll make boost almost as fast from a low rpm 4th gear pull that a PD/Twin Screw blower will but the turbo will make more hp/torque where it counts. I mean if the PD blower makes more torque than the turbo does, it'll be for about 1500rpm down low(1500-3000rpm) which doesn't matter at all in a race from a dead stop or a roll. My car will make boost going up a hill in 5th gear with cruise control on, there really isn't any lag at all. I'll make a new video when the weather breaks and show ya what I mean. I didn't load the car up on the dyno vid either, the vac. gauge shows that..the reason we were going back and forth with the RPM was to get it matched up with the dyno(factory tach sucks bad...hence you see the tach go to almost 7k when I only pulled it up to 5400 on the dyno )

Low RPM means jack in anything we actually use our cars for, it doesn't matter if it makes 400 or 600trq, that's more than any of these cars need to pull up a hill in 5th gear or anything like that. My car has a 70mm turbo which is "big" for what it needs to have on it but I got a smoking deal on it($600 for the turbo and tial 38mm wastegate new) A 60-62mm is all you need to get the job done.

It seems like we are talking about different things.

1500 RPM lugging around in traffic (what I consider and do in my daily driver) or 2500+ RPM driving around (what I consider and do in my weekend fun car).

I just think most people will be driving their fun car aound at more than 1500 RPM, and even then more than 2000 RPM. In our light cars there is no need for tons of torque down low, and less power up top. Well in my naturally aspirated opinion anyway.
