alright i'm really thinking about using a set of world products windsor sr heads(roush 200cc)

i've done a search and i couldnt really find anything. i found some people say stay away from world product heads and some people say the are durable and flow good numbers. i know they are heavy but they are also the only heads i can find that brand new with a 200cc intake runner are cheaper than what most aluminum heads with a 170cc intake cost.

i have been searching or the classifies here and on the corral daily and i haven't seen any large intake runner heads around my price range for sell. there is a guy selling a freshly ported set of windsor sr. for 750 plus shipping. i'm kinda scared to buy used ported heads because of the fact that they could be butchered, but he has sent me pics and they look pretty good.

sorry for the long post but i've been debating about these heads for a good while now and i'm not really sure about what i should do.

thanks for any input.

I would use them. I have before. I got a set of new bare Sr's a few years back. The seats and stuff were supposed to be "ready to go". They weren't. Needed the seats cut and stuff. I'd say that since they have been used, the machine work has been completed and should be in good shape. Easily worth the asking price, if they are.

When I pulled mine off and shipped them from Ohio to Washington (not DC) it was a little less than $100 total. Sounds like he's not as honest as he would have to be for me to want to trust what he says about some cyl heads.

$1000 would get you very close to some of the Aussie made aluminum heads they sell on Ebay. That would be for new heads, too. Just a thought.

will a head with a 170cc intake runner flow good enough to support 351 cubic inches.

and how much do you know about the Aussie heads? they look good but do you know anyone thats used them?

i think i'm going to let these heads world heads pass.
